Roger Ladon Griffis

Mr. Roger Ladon Griffis, age 70, passed away peacefully on April 9th at his home in Lake Butler, FL. Roger was born in Starke, FL to the late Elisha and Irene Woods Griffis. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at the sawmill for over 20 years. Roger enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with is family. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Patricia Raulerson.

Roger is survived by his brother Earl (Edith) Griffis of Lake Butler and his sisters, Peggy Griffis of Daytona Beach and Susan Roark of Lake City.

A graveside service to honor Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, April 11th at 11:00am at Brown Cemetery in Lake Butler. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008. archerfuneralhome.com
