Dianna White

Her story...

Dianna L. White was born on September 23, 1948 in Rocky Point, North Carolina to the late Andrew and Minnie White. She was Their 7th child of 10. She attended public school in her hometown and graduated from Pender County High School.

After graduation, she moved to Brooklyn, New York where she married and where her children were born. Brooklyn was where she met Jehovah’s Witnesses. After an intensive study of the Bible, she dedicated her life to Jehovah God and became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on July 14, 1974.

Dianna is known to many for her warm smile, encouraging words and her loving hugs. She would always leave you with a scripture from the Bible. She never met a stranger and loved giving hugs.

She found much joy in being one of Jehovah Witnesses, when she relocated to Florida from New York and spending time with her family and her very large extended spiritual family. She loved going to the beach especially Daytona Beach for assembly’s and getting saltwater taffy from Zeno’s with Brittany and Lavender, doing crossword & jigsaw puzzles, cooking and spending time with her grandkids especially “Pickles”.

Dianna served Jehovah God faithfully until she fell asleep in death on July 15, 2020 at 71 years old.

Her favorite scripture was Revelation 21:4. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain anymore. The former things have passed away.” Dianna loved this scripture. Mom looked forward to Jehovah’s promise and so do we. We look forward to seeing her again in the new world here on earth in paradise when all things are new and the promise of Revelation 21:4 is fulfilled.

Dianna will always be cherished in the memory of a host of love ones; Daughter, Wanda Butler-Ferguson (Julius, son in law who loved her like his own mother), Lake Butler, FL; Sons: Victor Lee, New York, Micaiah A. White, Lake Butler, FL. Grandchildren: Tiffany L Butler, Diamond J. Butler (Kulparkash Singh), Brittany Ferguson, Lavender Ferguson, Lake Butler, FL.
