Claudette Brannen

Claudette Brannen, age 85, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2020 in her home of 57 years, surrounded by some of her family.  She was born May 21, 1935 in Lake Butler, Florida.  She went back to school with four children, the youngest around 9 years old. She continued to take care of her family admirably, while she earned a degree to become a Registered Nurse. She retired as Nursing Director from Cedar Hills Nursing Home, Jacksonville, Florida.

She is predeceased by her loving parents, 3 close siblings, and her Beloved Husband of 61 years, Roy Brannen.

She is survived by her devoted children, daughter, Rita S. Calley, and three sons, Billy, Wiley(Lori), and Lee Brannen (Ayme’),  and was a grandmother of 9, and a great-grandmother of 14.

She loved the Lord, and will be forever missed by all that loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 21st at Swift Creek Cemetery in Lake Butler, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 11am – 1pm on Friday at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-486-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
