Zeluan Crawford

Mrs. Zeluan Croft Crawford 94, of Lake Butler, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Sunday August 3, 2014. She was a life long resident of Union County where she was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and neighbor. She was a member of the
Lake Butler Church of Christ, teaching Sunday school for many years and instrumental in starting the nursery program. She was also a great cook and most of the people in Union County had the pleasure of enjoying her delicious meals. She was very active in local and State Farm Bureau as well as working with the youth in 4-H, FFA, and FHA. She enjoyed several years working with the agricultural and population census.

She was preceded in death by Ray Crawford her husband of 64 years; Granddaughter: Shelly Crawford; Son in Law: Gene Nease; Brother: Hal Croft; Sisters: Loca Graham, Catherine Brannen, and Carolyn Souls.

She is survived by Daughters: Geraldine Nease of Atlanta GA, and Janet Johnson (John) of Jacksonville Fl; Sons: Ralph Crawford (Mary Lou) of Treasure Island, Fl, Larry Crawford (Kathy) of Woodstock GA, and Don Crawford (Brenda) of Midway GA; Brother: Dillon Croft (Mae) of Lake Butler, Fl. Six grandchildren: Eric Nease (Lori), Dona Rae Crawford, Susan Pilon (Sean), Donny Crawford (Summer), LaRae Price (Randy), and Joanna Crawford; Nine great grandchildren: Lindsay Brooke Nease, Landon Nease, Luke Nease, Landry Claire Nease, Katelyn Price, Joshua Price, Mallorie Rae Harber, Rayanne Crawford, and Winona Crawford; One great great granddaughter: Kallie Rae Smith; Faithful caregivers: Megan Welch Alvarez, Tina Welch, DiDi Johnson, and Althea NeSmith.

Funeral Services will be held for Mrs. Crawford Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Lake Butler Church of Christ with Bro. Trent Wheeler officiating. Burial will be at Midway Cemetery following the service. Family invites friends for visitation Tuesday, August 5, 2014 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
