Mr. William “Wilco” Warren, age 59, went home to be with his Lord, Jesus Christ, on October 28, 2019, at the UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Wilco was born on April 13, 1960, to the late Mr. Francis Warren and Mrs. Willie Rocille Reeves Warren. He grew up in Raiford and is a graduate of Union County High School, class of 1978. Mr. Warren worked for the Division of Forestry for over 20 years. In his spare time, he loved welding, working his cows, and being on the farm. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by both parents and his son, Brandon Warren.
Mr. Warren leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Mrs. Angela Regina Alexander Warren of Lake Butler, FL; his son, Durrell (Latrese) Warren of Macclenny, FL; two grandchildren, Jayceon Johnson and Bryce Warren of Macclenny, FL; brothers and sisters, Cedric (Debbie) Warren of Starke, FL, Tammy Warren Highland of Raiford, FL, and Ivory (Tangela) Warren of Starke, FL; god children, Camilya Highland of Tallahassee, FL and Jacquez (Taylor) Warren stationed in the United States Army; great-god children, Jarrod, David, and DelAndrè; numerous extended family members also survive.
A Going Home Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 11:00 am at the Union County High School Auditorium. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Fort Call Cemetery in Worthington Springs, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008. www.archerfuneralhome.com
