Born on December 15, 1933, in Lacoochee, Florida, Harvey’s life journey was marked by commitment, strength, and enduring love for his family and community.
A lifelong Floridian, Harvey graduated from Lacoochee High School before proudly serving as a Marine for three years. Harvey's work impacted many lives, reflecting his steadfast work ethic and unwavering dedication.
Harvey was a proud member of the Bethel Baptist Church of Starke, where his quiet and stoic nature was complemented by a great sense of humor that endeared him to friends and family alike. Known as the hero of his family, he cherished his roles as husband, father, and grandfather. Being a family man, lovingly known as "Paw-Paw", was his proudest accomplishment, tirelessly providing for those he loved.
A passionate outdoorsman, Harvey enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending to his garden, and skillfully canning vegetables from his harvest. These simple pleasures underscored his grounded and humble lifestyle.
