Vernon Daniel

Vernon Daniel 82, of Lake Butler passed away Thursday Morning, February 12, 2015 at his home with family by his side. Vernon was born in Odum, Georgia on June 4, 1932 to the late Luke and Rozzie Daniel. He retired from W.S. Badcock after 22 years. He is a member of the Christian Fellowship Temple in Macclenny, Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Alma Thomas Daniel; Daughter: Sandra Watson (Gene) of Lake Butler; Son: Randy Daniel (Jennifer) of Lake Butler; Grandchildren: Crystal Donaldson, Josh Williams, Derrick Daniel (Farren), and Dustin Daniel (Meagan); Great Grandchild: Weston Daniel; Brothers: Jack Daniel of Odum, Georgia; Sisters: Jean Walker of Mid-way, Georgia and Nell Ormandy of Odum, Georgia.

Funeral Services for Mr. Daniel will be held Saturday, January 14, 2015 at Archer Memorial Chapel at 11:30 AM with Rev. David Thomas and Rev. Timmy Thomas officiating. Family invites friends for a visitation an hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Haven Hospice or St. Jude Children Hospital.
