Twilla Sue Massingill

Twilla Sue Massingill, age 60, passed away at her son's home in Lake Butler on Thursday morning, September 12, 2024. Twilla was born May 6, 1964, in Clermont, FL, grew up in Worthington Springs and a graduate of Union County High School class of 1982. She moved around to different cities throughout her life, however in all her travels, Twilla always called Lake Butler home.

Twilla is preceded in death by her mom, Patsy Roberts, her dad, Benjamin "Red" Roberts, and her brother, Kevin Roberts.

She is survived by her son, Zedric (Deanna) Merritt of Lake butler; two grandchildren, Hunter and Emily Merritt of Lake Butler, and her former husband, Reid Massingill of Tennessee.

Twilla was a sweet loving caring woman who never met a stranger. She loved to talk and tell stories of her life, family, and friends. She was considered an awesome person by many.

A Celebration of Twilla's life will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home beginning at 5:30pm. Friends are invited to come and tell stories of their memories with her.
