Tony "Big T" Luke, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, friend, passed away on May 24, 2024, at Haven Hospice Lake City, after showing incredible, bravery, strength, and courage during an 8-year battle with cancer. He was born on July 20, 1970, in Starke, FL, to Gary and Faye Luke. Tony was a man who never met a stranger and his heart of gold shone through in every interaction. His warm personality endeared him to all who knew him. He had a knack for teasing his loved ones in a way that always brought laughter and joy to their lives.

He graduated from Union County High School in 1988 and went straight to work. Starting his professional career at Sysco, the family business, Homes of Merit, and finally a warehouse supervisor for US Cold Storage for 10 years. Tony's hard work ethic and dedication made him a valuable employee anywhere he went. Outside of work, Tony found solace in the great outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. He embraced any activity that took him outside, camping, or near the water.  He enjoyed riding his side-by-side vehicle with friends and he delighted in grilling delicious meals for his family.

Tony leaves behind his loving wife of 19 years, Debbie Burns Luke; his son Cody Luke; as well as his parents Gary and Faye Luke. He is also survived by his sister Sherry (Robert) Shoup; nephew Brandon (Kassie) Shoup and their children Kennady Castleberry and Gunner Shoup, along with brother-in-law Robb (Paula) Burns; nieces Heather (Trevor) Touchton; Hannah Burns and many other Aunts, Uncles, & cousins.

A visitation to honor Tony's life will take place on May 28, 2024, beginning at 1:00 pm at Johnstown Baptist Church in Lake Butler. This will be followed by a funeral service starting at 2:00 pm. Tony will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Mt. Zion/Swift Creek Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Carl Olin.
