Terry Gordan Sutherland born on March 6, 1954, in Savannah, GA, peacefully departed this world on July 31, 2024, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, FL.

Terry made his career in the field of drafting and was known for his precision and expertise. His colleagues at Exactech remember him fondly for his meticulous work ethic and attention to detail. His impact on the industry will not be forgotten. A man of few words, Terry was often described as quiet and reserved. However, those who knew him best understood his kind and thoughtful nature. Beyond his professional achievements, Terry had a passion for woodworking and fishing. He found solace in crafting intricate pieces and spending peaceful days by the water. Additionally, he found joy in escaping to the mountains, where he could immerse himself in the beauty of nature.

Terry's memory will be cherished by his son, Derek Sutherland, who meant the world to him. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Lieber and Linda Mallett. Terry is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruby Sutherland and his brother, Steve Sutherland.

The visitation and funeral service to honor Terry's life will take place on August 17, 2024, at the Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, FL. The visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by the funeral service from 11:00am.
