Sibyl Maxine Bell

July 13, 1948 — January 11, 2024

Raiford

Sibyl Maxine Bell passed away at the age of 75 at North Florida Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness on January 11, 2024. Born on July 13, 1948, in Hamilton County, FL, Sibyl had genuine love for the outdoors. She found solace and joy in tending to her gardens, nurturing each flower with care and dedication. Her yard was a sanctuary where she spent countless hours, always carrying a smile on her face as she meticulously groomed every blade of grass. No stick or stray leaf stood a chance against Sibyl's commitment to maintaining her pristine landscape. Her sons often found themselves moving giant rocks at her request, a task that brought a mischievous grin on her face. She also possessed an undeniable bond with her animals. In the company of her goats, chickens, and ducks, she found happiness. Sibyl was a dedicated employee of the Department of Corrections for many years until her retirement.

She cherished each moment spent with her loved ones including her three sons: Edward M. (Sarah) Bell Jr., Phillip E. (Shannon) Bell, and Thomas J. Bell.
In addition to her sons, Sibyl is survived by three grandchildren: Shyanne M. Bell, Sierra M. Bell, and Sadie M. Bell; along with her brother, James Phillip Norris.

She is preceded in death by her father, Randolph "Doc" Norris; her mother and stepfather, Ernest A. and Annie Lee Fuller; and her brothers Randolph "Buddy" Norris Jr. and Dennis W. Norris Sr.

Sibyl's final memorization will be by cremation under the care of Archer-Milton Funeral Home. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
