Shirley Ann Padgett Clark, age 75, passed away at Haven Hospice Lake City on March 29, 2023, after an brief illness. Shirley was born March 21, 1948, to the late Earl Cecil Padgett and Johnnie Bell Price in Highland, FL. In 1958, she moved with her family to Starke and there she met Alfred Lewis Clark. They married shortly after and spent 31 wonderful years together until his passing in March 1993. Shirley worked as a seamstress at the local factory's. She was also known for her delicious fried chicken while working at Chester’s Chicken and Winn-Dixie. Shirley loved animals and would take in any stray that would come to her way. Even taking in a baby squirrels and raising them for many years. Shirley’s favorite pastime was fishing  She is preceded in death by her parents; Earl Cecil & Johnny Bell husband, Alfred Lewis Clark; and nephews, Justin Brantley Brown and Brandon James Brown.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Tiffany (Ronald Lee) Ford of Starke; non-blood daughter Cindy (Christopher) Redding her siblings, Linda Sue (Roy) Bryant, David William Padgett, Patty Darlene (Rocky) Thompson, and Brad Brown; her grandpuppy, Taco Bell;  nieces and nephews Micheal, Chachi, Kimberly, Joshua, Misty, David Earl, Robin, Ronda, Jason and numerous others she loved very much

A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
