Sherry Lynn Eberhardt

Ms. Sherry Lynn Eberhardt, age 57, of Lake Butler, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 20, at her home, surrounded by her family. Sherry was born on September 13, 1962 in Hollywood, FL to Arthur Eberhardt and the late Narnine Lyle. She grew up in Hollywood, graduated from Gallandale High School in Broward County, then moved to Lake City with her family. In 1986, Sherry would move to Lake Butler and went to work for the United States Postal Service. She ended up working for the USPS for over 20 years. She was blessed with a green thumb and gardening and landscaping was a hobby of hers. She enjoyed walking out to her pond and feeding her fish daily. She also enjoyed getting away and spending time at the beach. Above all, her most treasured gift were her four children. She is preceded in death by her mother.

Sherry leaves behind her children, Josh (Tasha) Gaskins of Lake City, FL, Daniele Adams of Waldo, FL, Megan Adams of Gainesville, FL, and Troy Adams of Lake Butler, FL; one granddaughter, Taytum Gaskins of Lake City, FL; her father, Arthur Eberhardt of Fort White, FL; and her dearest friends, Shelia (Junior) Geer and Tina Trowell.

A Celebration of Sherry’s Life will be held on Sunday, March 1, at 2:00 pm, at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
