Russell Earl Thomas

Russell Earl Thomas 92 passed away June 15, 2017. He was born on February 18, 1925 in Starke Florida to Roland and Pearl Thomas. He lived in Lake Butler until he joined the United States Army and served in WWII. He was also a long-time resident of Jacksonville where he worked and raised his family.

He is predeceased by his wife Annie Mae, son Russell Earl Thomas Jr., parents, and siblings Lafayette, Hal, Henry, Ralph, Jeanette and Lawanna. He is survived by his son Terrell Thomas (Christie), grandchildren: Megan, Madison, Kendall, Chris, Michael, 6 great-grandchildren and siblings: Lester, Gus, and Oweeda as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
