In Loving Memory of Rhonda Sue Alvarez

December 4, 1971 – July 9, 2025

With deep sadness and enduring love, we announce the passing of Rhonda Sue Alvarez, who entered eternal rest on July 9, 2025. Rhonda was a loving daughter, devoted mother, proud Nana, and a constant source of strength for those blessed to know her.

She is survived by her parents, Julia Alvarez and Owen Alvarez, who raised her with love, faith, and the importance of family—values that Rhonda carried with her every day of her life.

Rhonda was the proud and loving mother of three daughters:

• Meghan Miscally (husband Jared Johns) and grandchildren Kensley and Harper
• Breianna Vanzant (husband Dean Shireman) and grandchildren Tucker and Baylor
• Kirstyn Key

Known to her grandchildren as “Nana,” Rhonda found her greatest joy in being with her family. Her warmth, humor, and nurturing spirit made her a safe place and guiding light for all who loved her. Whether she was cheering on her grandchildren, offering words of wisdom, or simply lending a listening ear, Rhonda was the heart of her family.

She is now reunited in Heaven with her brother, Randy Alvarez, and her presence here on Earth will be missed beyond measure. Rhonda also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends whose lives she touched deeply.

A service to celebrate Rhonda’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Pine Level Baptist Church in Starke, Florida:

• Viewing at 10:00 AM
• Service at 11:00 AM, followed by graveside interment at Conner Cemetery

The family is grateful for the continued love, prayers, and support during this time of loss. In honor of Rhonda, please carry forward the love, laughter, and strength she gave so freely.
