Penny Ann Smith

Ms. Penny Ann Smith, age 65, of Lake Butler, FL passed away at Vitas Hospice in LeCanto, FL on September 11, 2019. Penny was born on June 26, 1954 to the late Henry Gibson, Jr. and Lilly Ann Swaford. She was a lifelong resident of Union County. Penny enjoyed cooking and fishing, but most importantly she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Wayne, Bobby, Terry, Clifford and Kenny Gibson.

She is survived by her daughter, Angela A. Robinson; sons, Preston H. (Melissa) Long and John W. Smith; sisters, Diane (Roger) Cochran and Benzie (Dale) Ergle; brother, John (Brenda) Gibson; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service for Penny will be held at the Archer Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, September 23, 2019 at 6:00pm. Family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 5:00pm. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008 archerfuneralhome.com
