Orin "Junior" Reddish, Jr

Mr. Orin "Junior" Reddish Jr., age 92, of Lake Butler, Florida, passed away on November 13, 2018. He was born on September 11, 1926 in Miami, Florida, to the late Orin Reddish, Sr. and the late Fannie Bloodsworth Reddish. After graduating high school, Junior joined the Merchant Marines and served in World War II. He returned to Lake Butler where he began working in local mills before retiring from DuPont. Junior loved to fish. He enjoyed going to Rodman Dam and to Cedar Key. He also enjoyed going to Daytona to watch NASCAR Races. Everyone who met him, loved him. He will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Kathryn Reddish; his daughter, Geraldine Barnhill; his sister, Elmarie Crews and and both parents.
Mr. Reddish is survived by his wife of 6 years, Freda Taylor of Lake Butler, FL; son, Jerry Reddish of Lake Butler, FL; grand-daughters, Vicky (David) Falb of St. Johns, FL, and Rebecca Barnhill of Lake Butler, FL; four great-grandchildren, Alexa, Dylan, Logan, and Kaitlyn, all of St. Johns, FL; sister, Hazel Reddish; step daughters, Kathleen Griffis Clifton of Lawtey, FL and Julie Griffis (Ken) Lampp of Cocoa Beach, FL; step son, Tracy Edward Griffis, Jr. of Lawtey, FL; and step grandson, Lance E. Leukel of Lawtey, FL.
A Celebration of Life to honor Mr. Reddish will be held on Saturday, November 17, at 2:00pm at the Archer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Lake Butler.
