Ms. Nina Mae Paytee, age 82 of Lake Butler, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday afternoon June 5, 2013 at the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice after an extended illness. Ms. Paytee was born in Quitman, Georgia on January 10, 1932 to the late Isaiah and Mary Cason. Ms. Paytee lived most of her life in Lake Butler and was a member of the New Beginnings Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband William Frank Paytee; brothers: Jay Cason, Henry Cason and Horace Cason and sister: Rosa Lee Burns, Brother in law: John Paytee

Ms. Paytee is survived by her daughter: Mary (Sam) Jackson of Lake Butler; two sons: Willie Frank (Mary Ann) Paytee and Tony Ervin (Elnora "Tiny") Paytee both of Lake Butler; three brothers: Isaiah Cason of Mayo, Herbert Cason of Lake City and Thomas Cason of Lake Butler; four sisters: Loretha Reed and Trudy Mae Thomas both of Mayo, Emma Pinknee of Lake Butler and Thelma Lee Simmons of Lake Butler; Sister in law: Arillal Harrell, eleven grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Funeral services for Ms. Paytee will be conducted on Saturday June 15, 2013 at 1 P.M. at the Union County High School Auditorium with Elder Boyzie Perry officiating and Bishop Ernest Folston giving the eulogy. Internment will follow in the Ft. Call Cemetery in Worthington Springs. The family will receive friends on Friday night June 14, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler is in charge of all arrangements, 386-496-2008.
