Myrtle Parrish

Mrs. Myrtle E. Parrish, age 87, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on October 2, 2023, after an extended illness. She married Julius C. "J.C." Parrish and together they built a wonderful life together. Myrtle has been a businesswoman working in various capacities. For the past 50 years, she and J.C. have been the owners of Skip's Deli.  Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband J.C. Parrish; children, J.C. Parrish, Jr., Julie Williams, and James Parrish.

Myrtle is survived by her sons, Clayton (Mary) Parrish and Ronnie (Janet) Parrish; son-in-law, Deryl Williams; brother-in-law, Charles Parrish; sisters, Claudia Avery and Mary Padgett; 10 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.

The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home.
