Ms. Grace Muzzy

Grace Hendrix Muzzy went home to be with our Lord on April 6, 2016. She was 89 years old. Grace was born next to last of six children of James and Ada Hendrix in Jacksonville, Fl. on July 15, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, James J. Muzzy. She is survived by her two daughters, Lynne and Lori, and by two grandchildren, Luke and Rachel. She has two Great Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
During her life she resided in Georgia, Miami, Jacksonville, Gainesville, and Lake Butler. She was retired from the Dade County School Board, and graduated with honors from Barry University.
Her biggest joys came from her family and friends, traveling, and working outside at her home in Lake Butler.
Grace was a blessing and an inspiration to all who knew her. She was known for her generous spirit, her kindness, and living her life by Christian example. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Lake Butler, Fl.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Archer Funeral Home, 55 North Lake Avenue, Lake Butler, FL. (386) 496-2008. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m., one hour before services.
