Mrs. Ingrid Schenck

Mrs. Ingrid Martha Margarete Schenck, born June 21, 1930, of Lake Butler, passed away on September 1, 2013 at the Haven Hospice in Lake City following a sudden illness. Ingrid, a homemaker, was preceded in death by her husband: Floyd E. Schenck. Ingrid was a native of Germany and had lived in the United States since 1952. She and Floyd lived in Germany, Texas, Mississippi, Libya, North Carolina and the Key West while Floyd pursued a career in the Air Force. They both retired to Lake City in 1967, and after Floyd died in 1999, she moved to Lake Butler to be near her son Jack Schenck.

Ingrid is survived by her son: Jack Schenck (Ann) of Lake Butler; grandchildren: Tony Kemp of Starke, Eric Kemp of Tallahassee, Rebecca Norman (Blaine) of Lake Butler, Brian Schenck of Alachua, Elizabeth Purcell (Mike) of Boulder, Colorado, Megan Schenck of Orange Park; great-grandchildren: Etosia Milmont (Jake) of Cape Coral, Allyssa Kemp, Shane Leigh, Taryn Norman, Nadia Norman, Ramsey Schenck and great-great-granddaughter: Rylin Milmont.

Funeral services for Mrs. Schenck will be conducted on Friday September 6, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the chapel of Archer Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Norman officiating. Internment will follow at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. The family will receive friends from 10-11 A.M. (one hour prior to the services) on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice, 6037 US HWY 90 West, Lake City, Florida, 32055.
