Mr. Roy Trowell

Roy Trowell, 67 of Lake Butler passed away peacefully Wednesday December 16, 2015 with his family at his side. Roy was born in Douglas Georgia but lived in Lake Butler his whole life, he was the son of the late Joe Trowell and Gladys Cato Trowell. He was preceded in death by his brother Glenn Trowell, Sisters Lillie Mae Schrowder, Ruby Lott, Betty Jo Anderson and Betty Jean Burney. Roy was one of a Kind: When God made him he threw away the Pattern, Roy was a good man. His ways were like no other. He said what he meant , He was too giving and would give you his last shirt if you needed it. He was a good friend to most. He attended the Bible Baptist Church in Starke. He was a member of the V.F.W. in Lake Butler for disabled veterans.
He is survived by his Loving wife of 33 years, Betty Reynolds Trowell & his former wife Sylvia Jones Anderson
4 Daughters: JoAnn (Jason) Seay of Lake Butler, Haley Harris of Lake Butler, Tina (Stacie) Trowell of Ocala and Megan (Kevin) Harlow of Lake Butler
4 Sons: Michael Trowell of Orange Park, John Trowell of Gainesville and Roy Trowell of Lake butler and Joseph Trowell of Lake Butler.
13 Grandchildren & 3 Great Grandchildren
2 Sisters: Mary (Kenny) Keene of Lake City & Sue West of Lake Butler.
1 Brother: James (Joanne) Trowell of Lake Butler
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00 am visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at 10:00 am at the Archer Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Dekle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler. 386-496-2008
