Mr. Nubbie Luke

Mr. Nubbie Luke, 84, of Lake Butler, Florida passed away March 8, 2013 at the E. T York Care Center located in Gainesville, Florida. Mr. Luke had moved to Lake Butler from his birth place of Nashville, Georgia over 53 years ago. He had been employed as both a farmer and a meat cutter at the local grocery stores. Mr. Luke is preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Vida Ann Luke; and his spouse, Melverna Griffis Luke. Survivors include his daughter Donna Jordan and her husband, Kevin of Ocala, Two grandsons: Joey and Randy, Three great- grandchildren Wade, Mason and Bailee. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 12th at Mt. Zion Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Lemuel Lane presiding, visitation will be held a hour before service at Archer Funeral Home.
