Mr. Earl Lurell Luke

Mr. Earl L. Luke, 84 of Starke passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by family
Wednesday, February 27, 2013 . Earl was a life long resident of Starke and retired in 1991 from Gilman Timber Business. He was a member of the Safe Harbor Congregational Holiness Church, also a Army and Air Force Veteran of WWII and Korean Conflict. The son of the late Ivory and Ellen Luke, he was also preceded in death by a son, Raymond Luke and a brother, Earl Luke.
He is survived by his loving wife Patsy Griffis Luke of Stake, Two daughters: Samantha Luke and Dorothy Luke both of Starke. His son: Romey Earl Luke (Mary) of Lake City, Eight grandchildren: Rikya Gainey, Micheal, Ryan, Alvin, and Walt Howard, Lori Dugget, Robert "Eddie" Luke and Carol Tolbert, 24 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandchild, Two brothers: Wesley Luke (Judith) and Troy Luke (Gayle). Funeral Services were held Saturday, March 2,2013 at 11: 00 A.M. at Safe Harbor Congregational Holiness Church in Starke. Burial directly followed at Kingsley Lake Cemetery.
