Mr. Charles Edward Leach Sr

Charles Edward Leach 62, of Lake Butler, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Shands Medical Center in Gainesville after a brief illness. He was born in Starke and lived there and Lake Butler most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father, James L. Leach. He was employed with Gilman Timber Co. as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. He is a member of Christ Church of Starke. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years: Lisa Padgett Leach, Daughter: Kelly Leach of Tampa, Son: Charles E. Leach, Jr. (Karrie) of Ocala, Grandson: Christopher Leach, Mother: Anna Gay Luther, Brothers: Glyn Leach of Melbourne; Marvin Leach (Billie) of Baldwyn , Miss. and James Leach (Barbara) of Lake Butler. Sisters: Sandra Leach of Jacksonville and Anita Aguirre of Starke. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 11:00 A. M. in the Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Lester Austin officiating. Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery near Middleburg. Arrangements are under the care of Archer Funeral Home of Lake Butler. Family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 5 P. M. at the Funeral Home.
