Mildred Andrews Lee

Ms. Mildred Andrews Lee, age 88, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on December 15, 2018, at the Orlando Regional Hospital. She was born on February 24, 1930, in rural Union County, FL, at a turpentine camp out near Oak Grove Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Leroy Andrews and the late Myrtice Nettles Andrews. Her father was a woods rider and worked the turpentine camps so that was her life until she graduated high school. After school, she began working for Traveler's Insurance Company and would end up working for them until her retirement in 1993. She married the late Bobby Lee and they moved to Orlando in 1954. She loved being a homemaker, reading, traveling to the mountains, and taking trips back to Union County, FL, to visit family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Mildred is survived by her brother, Mr. John Andrews of Orlando, Florida and numerous extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 21, at 1:00pm at the Archer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends for a visitation on Wednesday, December 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Her interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008
