Ms. Marianne Evans Mobley, age 53, of Providence, FL passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. Marianne was born on June 28, 1967, to the late Lonzo Evans and Ms. Mary Witt Evans. She grew up in Columbia County and was a 1985 graduate of Columbia High School. After school, Marianne moved to the Lake Butler area where she would raise her girls. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Interstate Supply Company in Lake City for about 30 years until her retirement. She loved going to the beach, mountains, fishing, and taking bike rides. She just wanted to go! As much as she enjoyed going, she loved returning home to her children and especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father and her brother, Stephen Evans.
Ms. Marianne is survived by her children, Megan (Brandon) Futch of Lake Butler, FL, McKenzie Mobley of Lake Butler, FL; bonus children, Silas Wilson of Jacksonville, FL, and Celeste (Coleman) Burlingame of Lake City, FL; her mother, Mary Witt Evans of Lake City, FL; grandchildren, Finnley, Gunner, and Coleson; niece, Samantha (Chris) Moon of Lake City, FL; and her loving companion, Clint Wilson of Providence, FL.
There was a private graveside service to honor Marianne’s life on Friday, September 28, at the Fort Call Cemetery in Worthington Springs, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008
