Margaret Stewart Holmes was born to the late Thomas (Bull) and Carrie Stewart. She was a member of Church of God by Faith, Pastor Theodore Chamberlain. She was married to Early Holmes for 28 years. They shared a quiet life in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

She was blessed with 5 loving children and 1 God-daughter and a very large family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Carrie Stewart, daughter Alexis Ridgeway, brothers Ralph Stewart and Joe Davis, sisters Lois Davis, Mary Jane Green, and Yvonne Stewart Johnson.

She leaves to mourn her husband (Early), 4 children Brence Stewart, Herman Ridgeway (Danielle), Tony Paytee, Alexandria Ridgeway (Derek), and God-child Chasity Jordan.

24 grandchildren - Qaudry, Iyonna, Jasmine, Daquan, Alisa, Desmond, Destiny, Amari, Jamison, Keyonna, Anna, Kalvin, Yasmine, Rico, Ja’rico, Landon, Alexis, Kelvin, Delmonte, Raven, Aaliyah, Mya, Mariah, and Angela.
