Memorial Service
Linda Kirk, born April 3, 1953, in Washington, D.C., passed away on March 22, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, Florida, after an extended illness. Her spirited and independent voice was marked by unwavering strength and determination which will be missed by all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Linda was a picture of independence and strong will—qualities that shaped her journey. As a devoted Data Entry Clerk for Lake Butler Apparel, she approached her work with diligence and quiet pride. Yet it was not only her professional contributions that defined her; Linda found joy in the timeless melodies of the Rolling Stones and the simple, tender companionship of her beloved cats.
She wove this legacy forward through her own family—her daughters, Pamela (Eric) Parrish and Karin Ziesmer, her son Joe Trowell, nine grandchildren, and a multitude of great-grandchildren, each a living testament to the generous heart she carried within. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Mabel Kowalik and her late brother William Kowalik.
Linda will be honored and remembered during the Memorial Service held on March 28, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM at the Victory Revival Center, located at 18862 US-301, Starke, FL, with Pastor Randall A. Griffis, Sr. officiating.
