Leon Harry Harris

Leon Harris, age 75, passed from the life on July 28, 2018. He was at home, with his loving family by his side. Leon was born on August 6, 1942 to Curtis and Gracie Harris of Raiford, Fl.

Leon is survived by his wife of twenty-six years, Sharon Bonds Harris. One daughter, Kimberly Rust of Payson, Arizona. He is also survived by his sister Genice Reid. Two brothers: Ray Harris and Joseph Harris.

He was grandfather to Tiffany, Corey, Derrick, and Kalob, and great-grandfather to Hayleigh, Mason and Nevaeh.

He is preceded in death by two sisters; Bernice Holder and Clarice Griffis.

Leon worked for the University of Florida for thirty-three years in the Physical Plant Division where he was Superintendent of the Systems Department.

He spent most of his life in Archer, Fl until he retired and moved to Starke, Fl. He was a kind and caring "Papa" who loved his family unconditionally and he will be missed.
