Kenny Kuntzman

Kenneth Ray Kuntzman, known to many as Kenny, passed away on September 20, 2026, at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida. He was born on March 16, 1951, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Kenny will be remembered as a humble, quiet, and kind-hearted man whose life reflected love, simplicity, and contentment. He was the kind of person who never complained and who carried himself with a steady and gentle spirit. Those who knew him knew a man who found purpose in honest work and satisfaction in the simple things of life.

He worked as a carpenter, a trade that suited him well. Kenny enjoyed making things, building things, repairing things, and woodworking. He took pride in working with his hands and creating something useful and lasting. His interests reflected the kind of man he was—practical, thoughtful, and caring.

Kenny is survived by his son, Kevin Kuntzman. He is also survived by his sisters, Shirley Corbett, Scheryl Kleine, and Dottie Haltam, and by his brothers, Freddie King and Rick Kuntzman, along with a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Basil Kuntzman, and his mother, Retha McCrea. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 28, 2026, at Elzey Chapel Cemetery, 13372 SW 52nd St, Lake Butler, Florida 32054.

Kenny’s life was marked by quiet strength, loving ways, and a thankful heart. He leaves behind the memory of a good man who lived simply, worked hard, and cared deeply.
