Keaton Whitley Holmes, born on August 2, 2005, in Gainesville, FL, tragically left this world on May 25, 2024, due to a devastating motor vehicle accident. Keaton's departure has left a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him. Known for his vibrant personality, Keaton brought joy and laughter to all who crossed paths with him. His quick wit and zest for life endeared him to many; his ability to spread happiness was unmatched. Keaton had a special talent for lifting the spirits of those around him, making every moment spent in his company a memorable one.
Keaton graduated from Union County High School in 2023 and was pursuing further education at Florida Gateway College with aspirations as bright as his smile. He enjoyed various activities such as dancing, singing, and frequenting the gym. Keaton will forever be remembered for his infectious laughter and the positivity he brought into the lives of all who knew him.
The services honoring Keaton Whitley Holmes will be held on June 2, 2024, starting with a visitation at 2:00pm followed by his funeral service at 3:00pm at the Union County High School Auditorium in Lake Butler, FL.
Keaton is survived by his loving mother Brandy Mallard and step-father Jesse Mallard; father David Holmes and step-mother Karrie Holmes; siblings Trista Holmes, Emalyn Mallard, Ryleigh Mallard, Kaitlyn Mann (Cobie), Tyler Holmes (Brooke), Brandon Ames, Bailey Garrett, Brailyn Rose, Brooklyn Gay, and Brislyn Hamill; along with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
