John Wayne Guglielmino

John Wayne Guglielmino, age 69, of Middleburg, Florida, passed away on October 17, 2019, at the Cura Health Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. He was born on March 8, 1950, in New York to the late Sebastian and Lavonne Suddens Guglielmino. After graduation, Mr. Guglielmino enlisted with the United States Marine Corps and served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. He moved to Florida about 15 years ago to be with his family. He was an avid gun collector and enjoyed shooting his guns. He was lifetime member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars, the American Legion Post 0250, and the Marine Corps League. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife of 22 years, Susan Peckham.

Mr. Guglielmino is survived by his children, Katie (Brian) Griffis Boccanelli of Raiford, FL, Walter “TJ” (Ciara) Trancynger, Jr. of Middleburg, FL, Chrissa McCarthy, Antonia Spalding, John Guglielmino, Jr., and Joseph (Donna) Guglielmino all of New York; grandchildren, Savannah, Adeline, Ellie, Adam, Harleigh and Raine; one sister, Rose Rigo of Arizona, one brother, Joseph Guglielmino of New York; step-mother, Mary Guglielmino of Punta Gorda, FL; numerous extended family also survive.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Guglielmino will be held on Wednesday, October 23, at 11:00 AM at the Crossroads to Victory Church in Raiford, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 AM at the church. Rev. Neil Griffis, Pastor, will be officiating the services.
