Jeffery "Jeff" Ledford, 67, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2026, at St. Vincent's Hospital Riverside in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jeff was born on August 25, 1958, in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the late Irvin and Margaret Ledford.

For 38 years, Jeff dedicated his career to the air conditioning industry, earning the respect of coworkers and customers alike as a skilled and dependable service expert. He took great pride in his work and in helping others.

Outside of work, Jeff found happiness in the simple things. He loved spending time with his family, woodworking, and working in his yard. His greatest joy was caring for his beloved birds, which brought him endless companionship and happiness.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Margaret Ledford, and his sisters, Luan Parker and Martha Ledford.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving companion of more than 20 years, Theresa Norman; his son, Chris (Heather) Beaver; his daughter, Missy Walker; his grandchildren, Brandon Ogg, Noah Ogg, Dylan Manning, and Cassidi Beaver; and his great-grandchildren, David Ogg and Kole Manning. He will also be remembered fondly by extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

In keeping with Jeff's wishes, he will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
