Jason Alan Price, born on January 10, 1987, in Dallas, Texas, transitioned from this life on August 23, 2025, at his residence. His journey was characterized by a steadfast devotion to both his family and his work. A talented tradesman recognized for his diverse skills, Jason most recently made a significant impact in the plumbing community out of Gainesville, Florida.
Described as calm and meek with a kind soul, Jason was known for his level-headed nature and his ability to approach any challenge with patience and grace. He was passionate about physical activities, embracing life through fitness and the great outdoors. Being from Dallas Texas, he was an avid Cowboys fan but also stayed local and enjoyed watching the Florida Gators play ball as well. He also enjoyed physical sports such as boxing and WWE. His enthusiasm for staying active extended beyond personal enjoyment; he cherished the opportunity to instill that same love for physical activity within his daughter.
Jason took immense pride in his role as a father to his beloved daughter, Vanessa Jade Price, considering it one of his proudest accomplishments. His dedication to her well-being and happiness was evident in everything he did. He was never too busy to offer encouragement, affection, or guidance, and his love will continue to resonate in her heart.
Jason is survived by his loving family: his mother, Ruth (Matthew) Bryan; his father, Thomas (Lori) Price; his daughter, Vanessa; his grandmother, Mabel Daughtery; step-brothers, Jacob and Joshua Bryan; step-sister, Jessica Bryan; half-brother, Shawn Price; and half-sister, Jennifer Dews. While sorrow accompanies these cherished connections, they shall also find comfort in memories of the laughter, lessons, and love he shared so generously.
Jason is preceded in death by his brothers, Jeremiah, Christopher, and Tommy Price, as well as his grandfather, Hoyt Daughtery. Their memories will continue to live on as part of his legacy.
