James Henry Turner

Mr. James Henry Turner, age 94, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020 at his home in Fort White, FL. James was born on September 19, 1925 in Gilchrist County to the late James C. and Sarah Elizabeth Farnell Turner. He was a hard-working country man who made a living farming. When he wasn’t farming, James enjoyed swinging on the front porch, listening to blue grass or fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed being able to spend time with them. James is preceded in death by his wife, Freddie Mae Turner; and brothers, Roy, Marvin, Harvey, and Dale Turner.

James is survived by his son, James (Jennifer) Turner; daughter, Lynn Langford; grandchildren, Ashton, Christine, Wade, Dalton, Trace, Jacob, Nicole, Crystal, Shannon, Michael and Wes; 9 great-grandchildren; and family friend, April also survive.

A graveside service to honor James will be held, Wednesday, April 1st at 2:00p.m. at Mt. Horeb Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to cover expenses.
