James F. Mott

Mr. James Freidman Mott, age 62, of Brooker, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at the Shands at Starke Hospital after a sudden illness. Mr. Mott was born on November 30, 1950, in Gainesville, Florida to James Rhymes "JR" and Freida Perryman Mott. Mr. Mott was a life long resident of the Brooker area and was a member of the Brooker Baptist Church. He was a retired Store Keeper #2 with Tacachale in Gainesville. Mr. Mott served four years in the Air Force and served two years after in civil service. Mr. Mott was preceded in death by his father: James Rhymes "JR" Mott. Mr. Mott is survived by his mother: Freida Perryman Mott of Brooker; brother: Ricky Mott (Pearle) of Starke and sister: Elaine Sutherland (David) of Cleveland, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Mr. Mott will be conducted on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 2PM at the Brooker Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Samson officiating. Internment will follow in Dyal Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6-8PM. Wednesday evening August 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
