James "Bub" Edward Vaughn

Mr. James Edward Vaughn (Bub/Bubba), 49, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2021 at his home in Lake Butler surrounded by loved ones. He was born March 9, 1971 in Huntington, West Virginia. He resided most of his younger days in Okeechobee, FL. Then moved to Lake Butler where he met his loving wife. Bub was a jack of all trades. He had a deep compassion for his family and community. You could always find him helping others or at the softball fields.

Bub was survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Corina Vaughn; his children, James Vaughn, Cody (Halee) Vaughn of Lake Butler, Dalton (Emily) Sumner of Bradford County, Jordan and Starla Vaughn also of Lake Butler; his mom, Sandra Mackney of Palatka; his brother, Rob (Sara Beth) Vaughn of Lake Butler; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at Sardis Baptist Church in Worthington Springs, Fl from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. The family requests everyone who attends to come comfortable just as Bub would want. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler.
