Helen V. Peoples

Ms. Helen Peoples, age 96, of Alachua, Florida, passed away on November 6, 2018. She was born on that same day, 96 years ago, in Waldo, Florida to the late Calvin White and the late Nora Brooker. Ms. Peoples attended the Waldo School and went on the college and eventually become and LPN. She loved to shop, work in the yard, and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a member of Brooker Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Green of Alachua, FL; son, David (Angel) Peoples of Windsor, FL; sister, Deanna (Otis) Tetstone of Brooker, FL; brothers, Kenneth Evelynn White of Port Orange, FL, and Tony (Betty) White of Fruitland Park, FL; five grandchildren and numerous extended family members also survive.
A graveside service to honor the life of Ms. Peoples will be held on November 9, at 11:00am at the Laural Grove Cemetery in Waldo, FL. The family will receive friends for a visitation at the cemetery beginning at 10:00am. Brother Paul Samson, Pastor of Brooker Baptist, will be officiating services. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home.
