Heike Katharina Seiltgen

Heike Katharina Seiltgen, born on June 30, 1958, in Steinfurt, Germany, left this world unexpectedly on January 24, 2026, at her home in Lake Butler, Florida. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Heike was a dedicated professional who began her career as a customs officer in Germany. Her relentless pursuit of new experiences led her across the ocean, where she embraced a fulfilling position in airport operations and security at Orlando International Airport. She cherished her dual citizenship in both Germany and the United States, a testament to her appreciation for her roots and her new home.

In addition to her professional life, Heike was characterized by her fun-loving personality. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was savoring a nice piece of cake paired with a warm cup of coffee or laughing alongside loved ones during family gatherings. Traveling and camping were among her favorite pastimes, along with her unwavering passion for politics.

Heike's love extended beyond her family and friends to her beloved cats, Mimi and Don Camillo, who brought her great comfort and companionship. She fostered deep connections with those around her, always making time for meaningful interactions and lending her heart to others.

Heike leaves behind her devoted husband of 20 years, Fred Seiltgen of Lake Butler, and her cherished children, Martina (Jason) of Orlando and Matthias of New York City. She is also survived by her father, Heinz, her mother, Brigitte, and her loving siblings: Mike, Ute, and Renate.

Her family and friends will celebrate her remarkable life together on Friday, January 30, 2026, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home in Lake Butler, Florida. Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 3 pm followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
