Harold "Duane" Welsch

Mr. Harold “Duane” Welsch, age 70, of Lake Butler, Florida, passed away on October 28, 2019, at the UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. Duane was born on June 13, 1949 in Larned, KS. He worked in construction his whole life and was a master carpenter. He moved to Lake Butler about 5 years ago to be close to his family. He loved to fish, drive his truck, and loved to joke around.

Duane is survived by his daughters, Tabitha Welsch (Richard Gaskin) of Lake Butler, FL, Teresa Koenig of Jacksonville, FL, and Melisha (Paul) Grantham of Black Creek, FL; grandchildren, Alex, Emilee, Zachary, Kerry, Kristie, Dawn, Cody, and Justin; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Dalia and Debra Vaccaro; brother Dailyn Welsch; numerous extended family members also survive.

A graveside service to honor the life of Mr. Welsch will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at 3:00 PM at Midway Cemetery in Lake Butler, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home. 386-496-2008. www.archerfuneralhome.com
