Grover Cleveland Phillips Jr

Grover Cleveland Phillips Jr, 95, of Lake Butler, Florida passed away on March 31, 2018. Grover was born in Roane County, Tennessee. He moved from Macon, Georgia to Union County in 1961. He proudly served his Country in the United States Army. During World War II, Grover served as a U.S. Army Medic. Later in life, he became a store owner and a salesman. Grover enjoyed sitting on his porch with his cats. He enjoyed meeting new people. He is preceded in death by his father, Grover Phillips Sr. Mother, Beatrice Phillips. Grover leaves his family to cherish his memory.
Grover C. Phillips Jr is survived by two sons; Grover Dean Phillips, David "Tuffy" Phillips. Two daughters; Virginia Phillips, Margaret "Bitsy" Phillips. One sister, Laura Belle Brown. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
