Gregory "Steve" Gibson

Gregory "Steve" Gibson, 54, of Lake Butler passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 16, 2016. Mr. Gibson was born August 31, 1961 to the late Cecil Gibson and Fay Albritton in Bradford County, but had spent most of his life in the Lake Butler area. Mr. Gibson was a carpenter by trade.

Mr. Gibson was survived by his sons Greg Gibson and Matt Gibson both of Gainesville, FL, his brother Arnnie Gibson (Anna) of Starke, FL, his sisters Karen Lazenby (Joe) of Starke, FL, Tonda Elixson (Alvin) of Lake Butler, Tina Welch (Johnny) of Lake Butler, and Gina Eddy of Middleburg, FL, his stepfather Jimmy Albritton of Lake Butler, a stepbrother Jamie Albritton of Lake City, FL, a grandson, and other family members.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Santa Fe Mennonite Church, Building Fund, 9080 S County Road 231, Lake Butler, FL 32054.
