Frances Elizabeth Smith

Mrs. Frances E. Smith, 77, of Lake Butler, passed away November 11, 2015 at the Suwannee Haven Hospice in Lake City after a brief illness. She was born in Lake City where she lived her life in Columbia County and Union County. She was the daughter of the late Mitchel Tyre and Ruth McCall. She was preceded in death by a daughter- Mary Williams and a son Roy Smith and a brother John Roy McCall. She worked at North East Florida State hospital for 33 years as a nurse's aid she retired in 2002. She was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in Archer Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Freddie Griffis officiating. Visitation of family and friends will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Archer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Long Branch Cemetery in Clay County.
