Edward Lowell Canada

Mr. Edward Lowell Canada, age 76 of Gainesville, passed away peacefully at the North Florida Regional Medical Center on Tuesday May 28, 2013, after a sudden illness. Mr. Canada was born on October 6, 1935, in Melbourne, Florida to the late John David Canada, Sr. and Leona Lenire. Mr. Canada lived most of his life in the Orlando area having moved to the Gainesville and Lake City area 10 years ago. Mr. Canada was an electrician and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era; he was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Canada is survived by his daughter: Sherry (Joey) Richard of Raiford; sons: Van (Lisa) Canada of Lake Butler and Eddie Canada of Raiford; brother: Carl Canada of Tennessee and two sisters: Ora Mae Loggie and Ruby Strickland both of Orlando. Ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive. At this time there are no scheduled services for Mr. Canada.
