Edgar â??Dougâ?? Wilson Douglass, III

Edgar “Doug” Wilson Douglass III, 47, lifelong resident of Lake Butler, Florida passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 3, 2020. Doug was born in Gainesville, Florida on March 18, 1973 to Mr. Edgar “Eddie” Wilson Douglass Jr and the late Mrs. Martha Douglass. Doug was a loving father, brother, and son, and a friend to many. He was a graduate of Union County High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and riding horses along with many other outdoor activities. Doug is survived by his eldest daughter, Madison Douglass; youngest daughter, Taylor Douglass; father Eddie Douglass; mother, Laura Russell; two sisters, Conney (Nicky) Gay and Kelly (Randy) Carlton. 

The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 12th at Archer Funeral Home in Lake Butler from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and interment of his ashes will follow at Swift Creek/Mount Zion Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer Funeral Home, Lake Butler. 386-496-2008 www.archerfuneralhome.com
