Dale "Dmama" Hollingsworth Clyatt

Mrs. Dale “Dmama” Clyatt, age 85, passed away peacefully at E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville, FL, on June 25, 2022.  She was born in Lee County, FL on February 20, 1937, to the late Ive and Fredna Hollingsworth. Her freshman year of high school, her family moved to Union County, where upon graduating she married the love of her life, Glen Clyatt on December 20, 1956. The two made a wonderful life together that centered around family. She spent 29 years as a school bus driver providing transportation to the students of Union County. Mrs. Dale enjoyed having family get-togethers, taking trips to the mountains, camping, and her grandchildren. She has been a faithful member of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings.

Mrs. Dale is survived by her husband of 65 years, Glen Clyatt of Lake Butler; her children, Lanier (Carol) Clyatt of Brooker, Cindy (Stanley) O’steen and Don Clyatt, both of Lake Butler; her grandchildren, Lindsay (Jeremy) Craft of Chipley, Jordan (Ashley) Clyatt of Tallahassee, Kerri (CJ) Burroughs of Lake Butler, Kayla (Justin) Thomas of Gainesville, Donny (Barbara) Clyatt, Adam (Erica) Adkins, and Arica Lafferty, all of Lake Butler, and 15 great-grandchildren.

A service to honor Dmama’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Harmony Free Will Baptist Church. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 10:00 am. She will be laid to rest immediately following the service at Elzey Chapel Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Pastors Paul Davis, Bob Brown and Buddy Morris.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of Archer-Milton Funeral Home, Lake Butler 386-496-2008.
