Cora Lynn Patillo, born on August 26, 1971, in West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on April 6, 2026, at her home. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.

For many years, Cora served as a manager for Checkers, where her leadership and commitment to excellence earned her respect and admiration. Alongside her management career, she also pursued cosmetology, demonstrating her diverse talents and her ability to connect with people through her work.

Known for her lively spirit and sense of humor, Cora was often the jokester in any gathering, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. Her warmth and cheerful nature were among the many qualities that endeared her to family and friends.

Family was at the heart of Cora’s life. She cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, considering these roles her proudest accomplishments. Her deep love for her family was a guiding force throughout her years, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and strength.

Cora is survived by her children: Trenese Brown, Timtavious Brown, Tyauna Brown, David Brown, and Vanesah Patillo. She also leaves to cherish her memory her father, Johnny Patillo of Ft. White, and her mother, Mary Patillo of Georgia. Her siblings—Daphaney, Tracy, John, Brian, Johnita, Katrina, and Kareen Patillo—along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, mourn her passing and celebrate her life.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Jennifer Patillo and her grandmother, Cora Mae Hutchinson.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Archer-Milton Funeral Home. We invite everyone to come and celebrate Cora's life.
