Clinton Thomas Bishop, 63

Clinton Thomas Bishop 63, of Lake Butler passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Haven Hospice Care Center in Lake City after an extended illness. Mr. Bishop was born July 19, 1950 in Lake City to the late "T.J" Thomas Jackson Bishop and Geneva Faye Taylor Bishop. Mr. Bishop was a farmer with his father and mother for many years before he went to work for the Florida Department of Corrections after 25 years of service he retired. His happiness was his children and his love of cooking and fishing, making other's happy. He is one of God's children and he is at rest. He was preceded in death by a son Guy Jackson Bishop.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 44 years: Linda Gayle Bishop of Lake Butler; Three Children: Ryan Thomas Bishop (Angie) of Alachua, Brandi Dawn Williams (Lance) of Lake Butler, and Travis Troy Bishop of Lake Butler, Four Grandchildren: Shelbie Shiree Lane, Lane Thomas Bishop, Wyatt Lugenbeel and Garrett Williams; One great granddaughter: Tayler Lynn Lane and One great grandson to be: Kolten McCoy Lane; Two Brothers: Twin Kenneth Jackson Bishop (Martha) of Ellisville, Clifton Daniel Bishop (Kathy) of Lake City; Sister: Ginny Langford (Larry) of Worthington Springs.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Archer Memorial Chapel. Family invites you to join them at 1:00 pm an hour before the service for visitation. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Community State Bank, 255 South East 6th Street, Lake Butler, Florida 32054, 386-496-3333 for help with the funeral expenses.
