Charney Robert "Bob" Johns

Mr. Charney Robert "Bob" Johns, age 47 of Lake Butler, passed away peacefully at the Suwannee Valley Haven Hospice after an extended illness. Bob was born in Starke, Florida on May 21, 1966, to Kenneth and Shirley Johns and was a lifelong resident of the Lake Butler area. He was a Correctional Officer and retired from Union Correctional Institution in 2011. Bob was a member of the First Baptist Church. Bob was preceded in death by his brother: Danny Johns. Bob is survived by his parents: Kenneth and Shirley V. Johns of Raiford; daughter: Savannah Johns of Delta Junction, Alaska; son: Robbie Johns of Raiford; three brothers: Ken Johns (Amy) of Raiford, Lucas Johns (Crista) of Lake Butler and Jessie Harvey (Donna) of Raiford and one sister: Claudia Johns of Starke. Funeral Services for Bob will be conducted on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at 2PM. in the chapel of Archer Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Kimbrell officiating. Internment will follow in Dekle Cemetery in Lake Butler. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM. (hour before the service) at the funeral home.
